One of the longest-standing choirs in Liverpool

A VERY WARM WELCOME FROM THE LIVERPOOL MALE VOICE CHOIR.

Formed in 1911, we are the only traditional male-voice choir in Liverpool, and one of the longest-standing choirs in the City.

We currently have around 35 choristers, headed by our Musical Director – Richard Marshall, our President – Pauline Metcalfe and our Chairman – Mike Gollop. Our eight strong Committee is the guiding force of the choir and our accompanist is Danny Gerrard on Piano.

Our repertoire comprises a wide range of songs, show songs, spirituals, operatic choruses, hymn tunes, shanties and more, thus providing plenty of variety to satisfy our audiences. This means there is something for everyone. Typically we perform around 12 to 14 concerts throughout the year.

Liverpool Male Voice Choir – Come and join us

You are invited to come along to one of our rehearsals, listen to us and if you feel like doing so, join in. These are very informal sessions which will allow you to chat with choir members, ask questions and decide if you would like to join us.

The sessions are every Monday evening from 7:30 to 9:30pm at our new address which is Gladstone Hall, St David’s Church, Rocky Lane, Childwall L16 1JA.
